Cases (predominantly administrative hearings and appeals from those hearings) involve union/employee grievances on a wide variety of topics, adverse actions, reductions in force, employment discrimination, collective bargaining, negotiability determinations and unfair labor practice charges.
About the Position:
Labor Counselor is solely responsible for the scheduling and litigation of all labor cases. Fort Bragg employs over 7,000 civilian employees, has both Corps and tenant units, directors and commanders of operating programs (i.e. center and school producing Special Operations Force Soldiers, an airborne test and evaluation directorate, and others) and an active union representing both union and non-union members in wage and employment negotiation and labor disputes. The Labor Attorney typically has dozens of litigations in all stages on the docket at any given time.
