Civilian employees of the US Army Corps of Engineers serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission.  They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations.  The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.

About the Position: You will serve as a Program Support Assistant providing a full range of administrative and program management support to the District in the development of dredging contracts and projects.

 

• This position is located in the Navigation Branch of Operations Division.
• Position is obligated to employee with return rights.
• Position may be filled by temporary promotion not to exceed 12 months.
• Position may be filled by temporary reassignment not to exceed 12 months.
• May be filled as a temporary position and may be extended up to a maximum of two years.
• Temporary promotion may be made or extended up to maximum up to five years.
• Competitive temporary promotion may be made permanent without further competition.
• Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination
  that a PCS move is not in the Government interest.
• Defense National Relocation Program services expenses will not be authorized.
• TDY or TCS may be authorized only if OCO funds are available.
