Technical Operations Inc. seeks an Applications Engineer for the Technology Solution & Infrastructure department. The Application Engineer is responsible for the development of websites and applications from conception to deployment. The candidate should excel in all components of the web application development skill set including; Objective-C, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, integration with REST based APIs, site maintenance, and troubleshooting. The candidate is expected to communicate technical decision and processes, as well as help Project Managers manage client and business expectations to deliver projects successfully and on time.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* Develop and maintains websites and applications using Objective-C, JavaScript, and HTML skills. Integrates vendor-produced projects with ADS architecture and systems. Develops overarching functionality (e.g. media players, advertising units, tools, etc.) across Warner Bros. web applications. Performs maintenance of web applications as needed.* Define the architecture and standards for internal as well as externally developed projects. Provides technical direction to external vendors to ensure smooth integration of web applications with ADS databases, traffic systems, advertising systems, etc. Document processes for the maintenance of applications.* Work closely with management to effectively coordinate, schedule, and manage projects.JOB REQUIREMENTS* Bachelor''s Degree in computer science, multimedia, marketing, communications or equivalent work experience required.* 4 years of experience programming/coding web applications.* Prior experience in entertainment production, marketing and/or advertising is preferred.* Advanced computer knowledge is essential, as is experience with software applications necessary to complete projects. These may include, but are not limited to, digital graphic tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.* Experience with development tools such as Xcode, Dreamweaver, and FTP applications.* Experience with Cordova / PhoneGap.* Expert Objective-C, cocoa-touch framework, and object oriented programming skills.* Experience with Bootstrap.js, JQuery, ExtJS a plus.* Data Services integration: XML, JSON, SOAP, etc.* Some experience with architecture / design patterns.* Optimization, both code and graphics.* Quality testing.* Strong HTML hand coding skills.* Strong DHTML and CSS skills.* Proficiency with Mac and PC platforms is mandatory.* Project management skills are required.* Understanding of related Web issues, including color, site architecture, user-interface, navigation, type.* Excellent attention to detail, and a desire to learn and master new technologies a must.* Must excel in project organization and tracking, including flowcharts, and schedules.* Strong experience in estimating large projects, and time management skills.* Must be a self-starter
