Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Director, Business Improvement & Control for the Sales Planning & Analysis department.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* Develop strategies, tactics and measurements to resolve business performance and supply chain management issues with a key North American customer such as: Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target or Amazon. Assignment to include responsibility for Canadian business.* Form a customer focused integrated account team and serve as project leader to implement improved business processes and results based on key initiatives identified by customer or WBHE.* Work collaboratively with customers and internal departments to improve forecasting, inventory management, delivery, invoicing and other business processes based on best practices.* Develop a strong working relationship with assigned account and obtain a thorough functional knowledge of the organization, performance measures and information flows.* Deliver improved business results in forecast accuracy, in-stock performance, inventory turns, lower inventory deductions, total delivered cost and other metrics through process improvement work.* Plan and organize financial cost control activities, in concert with VP and other directors, and manages costs using agreed techniques and methods.* Provide early identification of problems, advise management of the risks and recommend corrective action. Other projects / activities as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS* Bachelors degree required.* Masters or other advanced degree is preferred.* Six Sigma/Lean certification preferred.* Formal training on S&OP and CPFR preferred.* 7+ years of well-rounded supply chain experience and a strategic business orientation required.* Consumer goods or entertainment industry experience preferred.* Operational experience in sales, forecasting, inventory control, S&OP, CPFR desired.* Customer interaction with big box retailers preferred.* Ability to lead and manage in a highly matrixed organization.* Experience working with major retail customers.* Hands-on leader with strong communications, organizational and time management skills.* Strong operational, problem solving and staff leadership skills.* Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to work with limited direction.* Proven ability to lead, motivate and organize teams.* Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across organizational lines.* SAP experience preferred.* Knowledge of best practices in consumer goods, retail environment.* Willing to travel and meet with key customers as needed.
