Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Director, Demand Planning/ Initial Distribution for the Sales Planning & Analysis department. Position will oversee all activities associated with the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive and accurate Short Term Demand Plan and promotional and new release store level product allocations. In addition, this position is expected to: lead/direct all activities necessary to conduct S&OP and internal Demand/Supply Review activities, direct department workload and priorities to ensure a high-quality work output and metric compliance, work closely with cross-functional and technical colleagues to drive continuous improvement and efficiency in the areas of business process, system design and maintenance, develop and nurture relationships to drive cross-functional collaboration and support, lead efforts to ensure all process/systems are effectively and efficiently designed and delivering necessary functionality, lead the overall development and management of Demand Planning/Initial Distribution resources/personnel, integrate new business into the department as needed and assist the Vice President, Sales Planning & Analysis with research and special projects as needed.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* Lead the process / activities / projects to collaboratively develop the most accurate total sales forecast possible and communicate it to all customers
