Reporting to the Vice President of Accounting - Finance & Business Strategy, this position will lead the analysis of complex, material transactions including M&A, strategic partnerships, film financing and licensing arrangements from an accounting and finance perspective. This position is highly visible and will routinely interact with executives from Warner Bros., Time Warner and external business partners.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* Work with the business unit to assess the accounting implications of key business initiatives.* Lead the accounting and financial review of target companies including the deal model, supervision of due diligence and valuation processes, bridge to US GAAP financial statements and integration hand-offs.* Critically analyze deal structures and features to ensure they align with the intended business purpose of transaction.* Work with Corporate Strategy and Legal teams to draft finance sections of contracts.* Research and document accounting conclusions on assigned transactions.* Serve as a valuable resource for corporate and business unit colleagues.JOB REQUIREMENTS* BA/BS Accounting.* CPA required.* 7-10 years experience in accounting with experience in Big 4 public accounting required.* Extensive technical accounting and SEC reporting experience required.* Media & Entertainment industry experience preferred.* Exposure to IFRS.* Excellence required in the following skills:
