The candidate will be the principal administrative support person for the President of The CW. As a representative of the President, a professional and friendly demeanor is essential for this position. The candidate will possess excellent administrative and communication skills, have great attention to detail, and be able to handle a variety of activities and tasks in a timely manner.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* Must display poise and discretion when liaising with board members, senior executives, employees, agents, producers and talent.* Represent the President by welcoming visitors, reviewing and writing correspondence, arranging company dinners and events, answering questions and meeting requests directed to the President.* Coordinate corporate meetings and travel by researching agendas, developing itineraries, booking transportation and reserving hotel and meeting accommodations.* Prepare materials for meetings and special projects by checking in with senior executives to establish objectives and determine priorities.* Evaluate processes and systems of organization implementing changes and re-designing when necessary.* General administrative tasks may include telephone coverage, scheduling meetings, coordinating conference calls, filing, photocopying, transcribing notes, typing correspondence, preparing and submitting expense reports.* Coordinate duties with 2nd Assistant to prioritize tasks and ensure both desks are in sync.JOB REQUIREMENTS* BA/BS Degree preferred. Strong computer skills required, Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.* Must be familiar with the names of board members, senior executives, talent, producers, directors and key industry players.* Must have clear understanding of the television industry, the various departments at a network and the different television cycles (i.e. fall launch, mid-season, sweeps, pitch season, production, pilot season and Upfront).* Must have the ability to work well under time constraints in a fast paced environment .* Must be proactive, detail-oriented and handle multiple tasks in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.* Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.* Must be able to travel if needed.* Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Sr. Executive level at a Network, Studio or Production Company. Previous experience rolling call, interfacing with agency, studio, and talent, handling script submissions is preferred.
