This position will be responsible for reviewing, assessing, and delivering savings and process improvements in the IT Hardware, Software and Services, and Telecommunications arenas. Services that will be reviewed and renegotiated include all servers, storage, peripherals, software, development/maintenance services and telecommunications requirements. This individual will work closely with department Director and corporate IT to identify savings opportunities and other value-adding improvements, and facilitate the procurement process through contract execution.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* Conducts analysis of market conditions and assesses new areas of opportunity to proactively manage changes in the market place; develops business plans to address such issues and meet new objectives.* Identifies and qualifies potential sources of supply and actively researches supplier markets to understand supply-base changes and opportunities.* Assembles and facilitate cross-divisional teams to redesign current business processes and determine supplier strategies.* Compiles and synthesizes both business requirements and external market conditions to develop optimal commodity strategy with full understanding of potential shortfalls and risk mitigation plans.* Develops and compiles required Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP) that successfully generate qualitative and quantitative responses and facilitate sourcing strategy development.* Develops category strategy recommendations in a concise and persuasive fashion and presents to management.* Liaises with Warner Bros. staff across all business units including but not limited to Finance, MIS/IT, Telecom, Technical Operations, Accounting (A/P & A/R), Consumer Products, Production, etc.* Manage ASP to ensure all support renewals are renewed within budget and in a timely manner to avoid any interruption in hardware or application services.* Conducts comprehensive supplier analysis (strategic direction, financial health/risk due diligence, market position, power in industry, capabilities & capacity, risk assessment).* Applies practical, analytical decision-making methodology to supplier selection; will be required to conduct periodic benchmarking of suppliers as part of the review process.* Monitors and manages multiple vendor relationships; initiates and conducts audits and vendor performance reviews as required.* Implement supplier-management processes to drive selected vendors toward world-class performance. Serve as a liaison for the vendor relationship.* Monitors compliance to contract revenue commitments; monitors performance across a variety of metrics to meet contractual requirements.* Monitors internal customer satisfaction; develops service level escalation and problem-resolution procedures.* Conceives and develops complex analytical & pricing models.
