This position will also act as primary liaison between producers and various network departments in order for these departments to achieve their objectives on these projects (Publicity, Image Management, Marketing, Standards & Practices, Programming). Will work closely with Producers and Development/Current departments to develop production strategies that are creatively viable, efficient and fiscally responsible. Working with Production Finance and Producers, implements these strategies into production budgets. Assists Business Affairs when negotiating deals and breakage on licensed shows. Coordinates Product Integration activity between Producers and Ad Sales.Production Management: Coordinates/Monitors/Directs all production related activities from prep through wrap, ensuring projects are on schedule, within budget parameters and consistent with creative expectations. Coordinates with Creative, Finance, Legal, Business Affairs, Publicity/Marketing, Standards & Practices, and Ad Sales. Ensures network goals/expectations are communicated, production expenditures are reasonable and monitored and evaluates breakage requests for accuracy and consistency. Assists in identifying/approving crew members, negotiates crew deals and deal terms with vendors. Coordinates with labor relations on union labor issues.Production Budgeting:Plan, coordinate and prepares production budgets. Coordinates with Creative, Casting, Business Affairs, and Finance to ensure budget meets both creative/operational expectations and financial/strategic objectives. Partners with Producers/Studios to develop production plans in accordance with budget parameters. Reviews and evaluates budgets and breakage requests for negotiations on licensed shows.Production Compliance:Establish and enforces production policies and procedures, providing suggested updates to the Production Manual. Enforces Corporate policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with Union/Guild, Government, and production incentive rules and regulations to maximize incentives. Ensures Producers/Studios deliver shows in accordance with Turner guidelines, policies and procedures.Production Administration:Reviews production generated reports for accuracy. Ensures timely distribution of reports to appropriate staff/departments/3rd parties. Reviews and confirms deal terms for production related contracts, leases and other deals.
