The purpose of this position is to oversee the maintenance of the broadcast video systems used to prepare, assemble and playout cable networks, syndicated programming, commercial advertising spots to over 1400 television stations, encoding and playback systems used for mastering of 1,500 DVD and Blu-Ray titles per year, and New Media encodes of 4,800 titles per year.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES* Maintain broadcast systems to ensure uninterrupted broadcasting 24x7.* Oversee the daily tasks of the broadcast maintenance engineers. Respond to escalated technical and client service issues. Review and assign work, manage staff and staff schedules and approve payroll.* Manage the installation of audio, video and data equipment and cabling.* Update technical documentation in the form of single line diagrams using AutoCAD and standard operating procedures.* Lead the planning and implementation of the GDMX Business Continuity Plan for broadcast engineering.* Performs any other duties assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS* Associates or Bachelor
