Minimum of 5 years management experience, leading teams and projects. 3 -5 years of experience as a trainer, facilitator and coach. Experience working with Human Resources and policy compliance. Seasoned at managing and tracking expenses. Strong experience in news operations or production a plus. Minimum 1 year project management experience. Must possess strong technical skills with Microsoft Office, Power Point, and project management software. Knowledge of PeopleSoft, TPAS, Time and Labor, iNews, Newsdesk, and concur a plus. Field production experience and news scheduling experience a plus. Coaching - ability to lead and develop a team.Duties: This position''s main objective is to oversee the day-to-day supervision of an administrative team ranging from 4 - 10 direct reports supporting a diverse group of clients for the Western Region. This position will be held accountable for the effective business administrative support for assigned client group(s) of up to 540 employees. This position is the backup to the manager on all personnel and confidential matters, working hand-in-hand with HR, Finance, Travel, MyHR, Accounting and Legal. This position is expected to motivate and lead their team in order to provide exceptional customer service in this constantly evolving business working with show EPs, department heads, on-air talent in additional to partnering with areas such as Accounting, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, MyHR, Properties, Travel, TGS, etc. In addition, this position will partner with Sr. Management and other members of the NGBA management team to collaborate on a regular basis in the overall management of the department. This position will oversee a team of up to 10 employees who are responsible for the business operational and administrative needs of the client group(s) for HLN, CNNUS, CNNE, CNNI, etc. Ongoing staff performance management and coaching. Position is on call 24/7.
