JOB SUMMARY:
JOB DESCRIPTION: Local company currently looking to fill the position of Customer Account Representative. Selected applicant will manage rental accounts and meet company account management goals and expectations by collecting on past-due accounts while adhering to company standards, policies and procedures. Increase store BOR and revenue through sales activities, account management, and providing total customer satisfaction, accomplishing all duties in a way that is consistent. Minimum age to apply is 20 years old, per employerapos;s policy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: SALES: Greet and assist customers on the sales floor; obtain new rental orders over the phone and on the sales floor; complete rental agreements as required; and prospect for new business by telemarketing and distributing print materials. DELIVERIES amp;amp; PICK-UPS: Load truck per policy to protect merchandise; deliver merchandise to customers as assigned; install merchandise and instruct on proper use; pick-up merchandise from customer homes as assigned; and keep vehicles clean and properly maintained as assigned. ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT: Review expired accounts and communicate with the customers to promote timely payments; maintain accurate records of past-due account activity; complete customer service calls in a timely manner as assigned; and follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to all standards. SHOWROOM FLOOR: Maintain the store in rent-ready condition; prepare returned merchandise to be rent-ready; keep sales floor clean and organized; and keep back office and store area neat and organized. *Job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent Friendly with good communication skills Good reading, speaking, listening and customer-oriented skills Ability to follow instructions Pass entry-level tests Valid state drivers license and good driving record Ability to routinely lift and move up to 75lbs Must have a minimum of one year customer service/retail experience Furniture sales, delivery and/or installation experience is helpful Must be able to pass a Background/Drug Test Benefits to include a five-day workweek with Sunday off.
