JOB SUMMARY:
SENIOR LONG RANGE PLANNING ENGINEER Coeur Rochester, Inc., a subsidiary of Coeur d'Alene Mines Corporation, is seeking an experienced Mine Planning Engineer for its surface heap leach operations east of Lovelock Nevada. As a Mine Planning Engineer you will be primarily responsible for developing long range mine plans, mine design, tracking actual progress against planned production. Provide engineering technical support to mine operation as required. Perform all work in a safe and healthful manner with Company's safety and environmental policies and procedures. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering and Three to Five + year's progressive work experience in a surface mine environment. Professional certification, a plus. Knowledge of Vulcan and EPS (or similar) mine planning software. Additional requirements include excellent skills in organization, presentation, written and verbal communications. Sound knowledge of mine methods, costs, and productivity. Coeur offers a competitive compensation and full range benefits package. EOE
