As District Conservationist, incumbent assists local Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs) within the designated counties in the development and implementation of a comprehensive natural resources conservation program. Incumbent provdes leadership and supervision to NRCS Celina field office staff. Incumbent serves as NRCS representative for the respective Service Center, acts as the Designated Conservationist for Farm Bill Programs and perform all phases of conservation planning. Incumbent is under the supervision of the Assistant State Conservationist-Field Operations (ASTC-FO). This position provides service to Mercer County, Ohio.
