JOB SUMMARY:

The VA Healthcare System of Ohio (VISN) 10 is seeking a dynamic Deputy Chief Financial Officer. VISN 10 is one of 21 Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISN) of the Department of Veteran Affairs.  VISN 10 is comprised of four (4) VA Medical Centers located in the state of Ohio (Cincinnati, Chillicothe, Cleveland, and Dayton), one ambulatory care center (Columbus), and 32 community based outpatient clinics, which provide comprehensive health care to veterans in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia.

 

The Deputy Chief Financial Officer, under the performance contract with the Veterans Integrated Service Network is responsible for advising the VISN CFO, other members of the VISN management team, and those with VISN health care facilities in all aspects of fiscal management.  In support of the provision of veterans' health care, the Deputy Chief Financial Officer shares accountability for a complex integrated financial system for VISN 10, carrying out policies and procedural instructions as established by the Secretary, Under Secretary for Health, VISN Director and other authorized VA representatives (e.g., VA and VHA CFO).  In this role, you will provide advice concerning financial management serving as a technical expert for resource matters.
