The Cincinnati VA Medical Center has an immediate opening for a Fee Basis Physician, Emergency Department.  Formal Training and/or experience in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice is required.  This position is aligned under Primary Care Service.  The facility is an active teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.  The Emergency Department is 24/7, Triple-covered during the day and single-covered at night.  Consultants in all Specialties and sub specialties support the emergency department.  There is management of acute stroke in collaboration with the Cincinnati Stroke Team and acute coronary management in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati.
