The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is an independent Federal agency that has daily impact on the way America's companies and unions conduct business.

When unfair labor practices are filed, we respond with thorough investigation, careful examination of the law, impartial judgment, litigation and resolution.

 

This position is being filled as an Internship in the excepted service under the Pathways Program. The Pathways Program is designed to provide developmental work opportunities that expose an Intern to the work of the NLRB through a Federal internship. After successfully completing your education and meeting NLRB work requirements, you may be converted to a term, career, or career-conditional appointment. You can make a difference at the NLRB.

LOCATIONS:  This position is located in the Office of the General Counsel, Division of Operations Management - Field, Region 8, Cleveland, Ohio. 

AREA OF CONSIDERATION:  This announcement is restricted to individuals currently enrolled in a qualifying educational institution on a full or half-time basis AND currently residing OR currently attending school in the following state(s): Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia and Pennsylvania 

Pathways Internship Program Requirements:

• Must be enrolled or have been accepted for enrollment in an accredited school.

• Must be in an accepted or enrolled student status until at least 2014.

• Must submit your most recent transcript and proof of enrollment, in the form of a letter or schedule issued from the eligible educational institution.
