This announcement will be used to fill multiple welder positions on the repair fleet.

SPECIAL NOTICE - PLEASE READ

This is a full time, temporary position not to exceed one year but MAY be extended up to two years.

About the Position:

The listed position is at the Marietta Repair Fleet which is a marine based repair party originating from Marietta, Ohio. The Repair Fleet is responsible for major/minor maintenance for 45 District projects which includes 9 high lift Locks and Dams and 36 flood control projects dispersed over a wide geographic region. The majority of maintenance activities take place on the Ohio and Kanawha Rivers at locations in WV, OH, and KY. Work performed with a traveling repair party.

Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is of in the Government's best interest.

• 75% or Greater
• 90% Travel required

• Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) required 90% of the time
• Pre-employment physical may be required
