About the Position:
Position is located at Deer Creek Lake, New Holland, OH. The Deer Creek Lake project was first authorized by the Flood Control Act of 1938, for the purpose of flood control, recreation, and fish and wildlife enhancement. Dam construction was begun in 1965 and completed in 1968. Deer Creek Dam is a part of the larger comprehensive flood control plan for the Ohio River Basin, a system of dams that reduces flooding on the Scioto and Ohio Rivers by holding back flood water.
Duties consist of providing total administrative support to the Deer Creek Lake Project Office in the areas of office management, records management, budgeting, property accounting, procurement, personnel administration, and office automation.
Position may be filled at the GS-04, GS-05 or GS-06 level.
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest.
