The Seasonal Recruitment Operations Center is currently accepting applications to fill up to eleven (11) temporary positions at Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.  Appointments made under this announcement are limited to 1039 hours (six months) in a service year and may be terminated at any time. Appointments under this announcement are eligible for rehire and/or extension (when initial appointment is less than 1039 hours) if workload and funding allow. Individuals selected under this vacancy announcement are eligible for rehire in subsequent service years.  Anticipated Entry on Duty: June 2014

Estes Park, CO - salary $16.26 per hour

Grand Lake, CO - salary $15.15 per hour

Rocky Mountain National Park is located 70 miles northwest of Denver and consists of 415 square miles of high mountain scenery carved and sculpted by glaciers. There are two sides to RMNP, the east (Estes Park) side and the west (Grand Lake) side. Check our website: www.nps.gov/romo for more area information.  Park Headquarters is located adjacent to the community of Estes Park, Colorado (approximately 2 miles), population 8,000.  The elevation in the park is 8,000 to 14,000 feet. Television and radio reception is good.  All outdoor sports activities, particularly wilderness type, are available.  Denver International Airport is approximately 2 hours away.

This announcement may be used to fill additional positions if identical vacancies occur within 90 days of the issue date of the referral certificate.
