JOB DESCRIPTION
Generally responsible for:
Greeting customers entering the parking facilities. Offering a bottle of water. Providing flight information if requested by the customer. Request shuttle for customer pickup, contact dispatchers to advise what shuttles are picking up and for what terminals. Periods of standing and walking the lots are required; there is some squatting and bending.
General Description:
·MUST BE ABLE to use, operate and transmit on radios appropriately and professionally
·Radio to shuttles for customer pickup.
·Keep a log of what shuttle is dispatched for what customers.
·Confirm with the shuttles that all customers have been picked up.
·Check off shuttle from customer dispatch log.
·Report ALL gate malfunctions IMMEDIATELY to base.
·Assist customers with ticket at the lot entry gate.
·During down time keep your area clean and picked up.
Communication Requirements:
MUST BE ABLE to speak and communicate clearly in English.
Lifting:
Lot Attendants are not required to do any lifting of customer luggage, but will be required to lift cartons of water bottles weighing no more than 5 lbs.
Age:
The minimum age requirement for employment with Ampco/ABM is 18 years.
Education/Training/License(s) Required:
No commercial driving experience or training is required.
High school education or equivalent required.
Customer service experience is helpful but not required.
Communication Requirements:
To assure compliance with many state and federal employment notice requirements, it is expected that all Company employees read and understand English sufficiently to maintain a safe and lawful work environment.
