The Seasonal Recruitment Operations Center is currently accepting applications to fill a few temporary positions at Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Appointments made under this announcement are limited to 1039 hours (six months) in a service year.  Appointments may be terminated at any time and can be extended if workload and funding allow.  Anticipated Entry on Duty: April, 2014 

Located in the Pocono Mountains, 80 miles west of New York City and 100 miles north of Philadelphia, this 70,000-acre park offers a variety of recreation activities including hiking, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, biking, fishing, and hunting. Additionally, the park protects significant natural and cultural features. Nearby towns provide all services, including apartment rentals, medical services, and other community needs. Full time positions and Part-time positions may be filled. Part-time positions will work approximately 16 - 32 hours per week.
