About the Position:
ACADEMIC RANK AND SALARY WILL BE BASED ON EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE. This is a civilian faculty position at the U.S. Army War College (USAWC) as provided under Title 10 USC 4021. Initial appointment will be for up to three years, the first year of which will be probationary. Appointments may be renewed in one- to five-year increments thereafter. Carlisle Barracks is an installation at the center of the Army and Department of Defense senior leadership educational programs. The historic post supports USAWC missions, including those of the School for Strategic Landpower, Center for Strategic Leader Development, the Strategic Studies Institute and USAWC Press, and the Army Heritage and Education Center.
