You will be responsible for the oversight of the Federal-aid Highway Program within the area of responsibility of the State. Responsibilities include participation in the planning, design, environmental analysis, design, construction, maintenance, and financial projects; and, representing the Division Office and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in all matters involving the State Department of Transportation (DOT), consultants, contractors, other agencies and the public. 

The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced mid-career engineer with experience in highway planning, design, construction and who is a team player, willing to travel, and who is looking for excellent benefits and a competitive salary.  This position is also good for a person who wants to be challenged and desires a professional career with the Federal Government.
