The incumbent of this position will function as a Nurse Practitioner for Acute Care, Hospitalist Service.
The Nurse Practitioner assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care, initiates changes in the system for delivering patient care based on current concepts and findings from research and or studies; uses sound judgment in making decisions; shares expertise with others; acts as a consultant; identifies, analyzes and resolves care problems which result in significant improvements in care. Shift rotation and some weekend rotation will be required.
