About the Position: At the full promotion potential, you will serve as an inspection coordinator responsible for the overall planning and coordination of dredging and other construction and maintenance work, on navigable channels. District civil works construction includes a variety of navigation and flood control projects (i.e., levees, revetments, flood walls, pumping stations, dredging and channel improvements, navigation locks, control structures, dams, etc.) and related relocations of bridges, railroads, and roadways.
Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest.
Defense National Relocation Program (DNRP) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest.

Reinstatement - Former Federal employees who attained Career status on a permanent, competitive Federal appointment. If the person was a Career-Conditional employee, reinstatement eligibility generally applies 3 years after separation unless an exception in 5 CFR 315.201(b)(3) applies. Applicant MUST submit SF-50 showing prior status as proof of eligibility. The SF-50 must reflect tenure 1 or 2 in the competitive service.
Veterans Employment Opportunities Act of 1998 (VEOA) - A preference eligible or a veteran who separated from the armed forces under honorable conditions. Applicant MUST submit a DD214 #2 or #4, Certificate of Discharge, as proof of eligibility.
