* Responsible forindependently identifying requirements, formulating strategies and documenting contractor support concepts for military customers CONUS and OCONUS.Missions include but are not limited to Equipment Maintenance functions (Field and Sustainment, RESET, LBE, MRAP), and Supply Support Activities (SSA) for parts ordering through STAMIS.Create project execution plans and developing schedules and guidance for implementation of projects ranging in size and complexity as well as creating organizational structures to perform logistics functions on various projects.
* Must be able tointegrate all the logistics function into a cohesive organization; and able to anticipate the needs of the customer and act quickly and accordingly.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
* Prepare and define data needed for graphical representations to include facility layouts, proposal charts and tables, drawings, photo evaluation, call-outs, matrices, etc.
* Draft statements of work (SOW) and performance work statements (PWS), technical how-to solutions; defines benefits to client of proposed solutions.
* Evaluate pre-solicitations, technical exhibits and requests for proposal (RFP). Prepare questions to client addressing RFP and technical exhibit inconsistencies. Participates in proposal review teams as a subject matter expert.
* Perform functional research and be able to describe clearly in proposals, operational solutions to include innovative methods, differentiators, and best practices/approaches, and be able to frame as winning submissions.
* Maintain current records and files, including research and model proposals.
* Track statistics relevant to provide written materials necessary for winning proposals.
* Meet with potential clients, partners and arrange for onsite tours as needed.
* Continuously aware of business development, competitive trends, new products, and market performance in your area. Provides technical and commercial assistance to match our services with customer needs.
* Interface with business development, operational field services, construction, and NAGD administration.
* Coordinate and consult with various supporting functional area managers/subject matter experts on facility design, resource requirements and development of cost and pricing justification for proposal development.
* Participate in the delivery of the companys services. Visits job sites to determine progress of operation of the companys services.
* Assist with preparation of graphical representations as facility layouts, drawings, requirements, matrices, etc.
* Physically and mentally capable of short-notice (72 hours) extended world-wide deployments, to include potentially hazardous areas with very basic life support amenities in harsh climates.
* Able to travel to project sites to participate in site surveys, pre-contract award meetings and execute on the ground operational assessments.
* Army active duty logistics experience and assignments supporting the execution of logistics missions within the last five (5) years.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
* Able to attain a national security clearance at the Secret level
* A minimum of ten years of Army active military service in the maintenance field.
* Excellent writing skills with computer literacy in basic programs to include MS Office Suite, MS Project and similar projects.
* Capable of documenting and presenting (in writing and orally) concepts and procedures performed in Logistic Operations supporting US Military customers.
* Current training or certifications in Lean Six Sigma or Quality Management techniques and processes.
* Undergraduate degree in related field.
* Possesses working knowledge of Standard Automated Management Information Systems (STAMIS) as they relate to logistic operations.
