RNA Account Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

Our company includes three segments: Our domestic network of distribution centers ensures that our customers - and their patients - receive the right medicines and medical supplies at the right time. Our IT segment provides service and support for more than 2,400 systems in independent, chain, hospital, clinic and nursing-home pharmacies across the country. We work hard so that pharmacists can spend their time on patients - not paperwork. Our Center for Financial Services plays a critical role in ensuring that hospitals, pharmacies and retail chains receive pharmaceutical products quickly - usually within 24 hours. Our entire team works to ensure patients receive their medications efficiently and begin the process of healing.
The Retail National Accounts Account Manager:Receives account objectives and assignments for specific RNA customer base. Account objectives are reviewed by VP Sales and senior management to determine success of operating plan.Is involved in developing, modifying, and executing both customer and company policies which affect immediate operations. Erroneous decisions will result in critical delays in unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.Regularly interacts with senior management and executive level personnel on matters concerning several functional areas and RNA customers. This requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance of, others in sensitive situations.Provides "best in class" service, support and value for McKesson's key strategic RNA partners.Is accountable for flawless execution of customer supply agreements and on-boarding of new business opportunities.Increases profit margins for McKesson key strategic RNA partners.Coordinates the implementation and communication for OneMcKesson products and services.Reduces operating cost by improving internal processes, increasing adoption rate of McKesson self help tools and systems, and by fully understanding customer business needs.Is responsible for exceeding revenue goals for McKesson key strategic partners.5+ years sales administration experiencedemonstrated leadership skills
The successful RNA Account Manager will have:Thorough knowledge of sales programs and functions, policies, practices and systems, and demonstrates leadership skills5 + years experience in management, sales, support, operations or administration.Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication, project management and business acumen.Proficient personal computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.Working knowledge of McKesson or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
The following skills and/or experience is helpful:SAP and Business Objects experienceData MiningAccount Maintenance and SetupMulti-tasking and working with conflicting due dates
4-year degree in related field is preferredGeneral Office Demands
