This position is located in Naval Medical Center San Diego and responds to issues throughout Navy Medicine West medical treatment facilities.  The incumbent is a neutral, independent and confidential (to the extent permitted by law) dispute resolution practitioner charged with achieving the equitable resolution of complex patient/provider/organizational healthcare disputes managed outside the legal venue.  The incumbent incorporates current disclosure/mediation/resolution strategies to share factual information between parties in order to seek meaningful resolutions that ultimately will improve the processes and delivery of health care.
