JOB SUMMARY:
Position located in Brookings, South Dakota. Candidates must be enrolled and registered as a fulltime student. Ideal candidate should be available to work approximately 15-20 hrs/week during the academic year and at least 20hrs/week during the summer. Daktronics is a leading supplier of electronic scoreboards, computer programmable display systems, and large video displays for sport, business, and transportation applications. Video Products group consists of displays comprised of a large number of pixels capable of creating various levels of graphics, animation, text and controllers which manage the operating of the display. Within this product group, Daktronics supplies displays that ar built on LED, incandescent an reflective technologies forming pixels which create the images. This student will assist with analyzing costs, gathering data, organizing into charts, and assisting with data needs for product development. 1. Responsible for updating costing spreadsheets with accurate data to assist the Business Analysts. 2. Assist Business Analysts in gathering data from Forecast/ERP systems. 3. Learn and use basic functions of SharePoint. 4. Make format and permission changes to Engineering Reference page as needed by engineers. 5. Assist with implementing any changes to Engineering Reference page as needed by engineers. 6. Help to maintain the product development projects on Glovia by working with engineers on development closeout reports and extensions inncluding completing labor work orders. 7. Assist in analyzing product and/or costs, including identifying costing issues. 8. Assist with entry and maintenance of pricelist and package items in the quoting system. 9. Regular and reliably work the scheduled hours. 10. Other duties as required to support product analyst and development functions. 1. The ideal student must be a fulltime student pursuing Bachelors degree from a four year college or university in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Math Statistics or a related field and in their sophomore or junior year of school. 2. Daktronics experience in preferred. 3. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. 4. Computer knowledge/experience preferred. Proficient at Excel. Prefer experience with Glovia (corporate software systems) and databases. 5. Be self-motivated, flexible and have good organizational skills. 6. Ability to manage time properly to meet deadlines. 7. Ability to work as part of a team. 8. Background check may be conducted. 9. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. 10. We do not sponsor immigration visas for this position.
