Position located in Brookings, South Dakota. Candidates must be enrolled and registered as a fulltime student. Ideal candidate should be available to work approximately 15-20 hrs/week during the academic year and at least 20hrs/week during the summer. Daktronics is recognized worldwide as a leader in the large display industry. The company designs, manufactures, sells, and services a variety of display products in three primary markets: commercial, transportation, and sports. Each engineering division develops products to support the markets needs. The Sports Engineering Division needs business analysts to assist the product managers with many product management responsibilities including, working with and supporting sales, engineering, purchasing, project management, inventory and manufacturing. 1. Request, run, manage and analyze reports using internal programs such as; reporting services, Glovia, Pipeline, Excel or other. 2. Develop and maintain standard dashboard reports that will show historical product trends such as failures, orders, win/loss, custom quotes, etc  3. Assist in maintaining Project Summary Form, Pipeline, and Concept (quoting tools). 4. Assist product managers and other business analysts in finding needed data. 5. Assist in S&OP; activities, such as maintaining the spreadsheets and print outs. 6. Analyze and correct assembly packet costs and codes. 7. Assist in product launch activities such as quoting tools, spec sheets, costing, etc. 8. Assist in maintaining custom product-quoting spreadsheets based on corrected parts costs. 9. Assist sales and engineering in project quoting. 10. Perform other duties as assigned. 1. Educational requirements: The ideal candidate must be a fulltime student pursuing a Bachelor s degree in business, math, engineering or other analytical degree and in their sophomore, junior or senior year of school. Only strong performers in undergraduate coursework will be considered. Must maintain an acceptable GPA. 2. Proficient in Microsoft Office products and some programming experience preferred. 3. Knowledge of sales, engineering and manufacturing process and procedures preferred. 4. Experience with Daktronics products is preferred, but not required. 5. Strong oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, and self-motivation are required. 6. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. 7. Background check may be conducted. 8.
