JOB SUMMARY:
Provide effective management of the daily gift recording and receipting needs resulting from increased activity, the USD Foundation is seeking a full time Associate Director of Financial Operations (ADFO). This position will also be responsible for the accounts payable and general ledger functions. A bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in accounting and a minimum of two years experience in an accounting or audit position is required. Applicants must have leadership qualities, able to manage a team and the ability to motivate others to perform. Must have broad conceptual judgment, initiative, able to multi-task, have critical thinking skills and have strong planning and organizational skills.Technical accounting and tax skills are required. Familiarity with non-profit accounting, IRS requirements for charitable giving, gift solicitation and receipting strongly preferred. A more detailed job description available upon request.
