JOB SUMMARY:

This position will: Perform janitorial duties to maintain a clean healthy school; assist with grounds maintenance such as snow removal and mowing of lawns; performs semi-skilled building maintenance tasks as assigned in the areas of rough carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical to assist in the maintenance, repair and operating needs of the school. <br>Knowledge of: Building cleaning practices and procedures; proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies; methods and practices of general building maintenance; routine carpentry, plumbing and electrical. <br>Ability to: Operate and repair cleaning equipment; use of variety of hand and power tools; perform heavy lifting (50lbs) and physical labor; work from ladders and confined areas; communicate effectively. <br>This position is full time to work from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday. At the request of the supervisor working hours can be adjusted. A valid SD drivers license is required. <br>Incumbent will be required to undergo a background investigation before employment begins. Incumbent will be required to provide documentation of MMR vaccination.
