JOB SUMMARY:
The Account Manager oversees the operational and contractual duties of the assigned account, maintains budgets, quality standards and positive customer relations with key focus on retention of account. This position ensures 100% compliance with all company guidelines, policies and procedures.<br>Essential Duties and Responsibilities Including but not limited to:<br>Establishes operational goals to ensure profitability of accounts and services. <br>Maintains and develops customer service through meetings, tours, written communication, and timely response to customer requests. <br>Maintains, follows up and resolves union issues with the assistance of Human Resources.<br>Financial acumen to oversee and maintain budget controls and staff forecasting.<br>Hires, trains, motivates, and directs staff on corporate goals, policy and procedures, customer relations, and account objectives.<br>Communicates changes in account contracts, budgets and status with District Managers.<br>Verifies and approves bi-weekly payroll and monthly billing.<br>Provides necessary staffing as needed to fulfill contract specifications.<br>Evaluates operational goals to ensure compliance with budget and profitability.<br>Prepares and distributes weekly operational reports.<br>Ensures and complies with all safety requirements<br>Delegates work assignments; matches the responsibilities to the person; gives authority to work independently; sets expectations and monitors delegated activities. Includes staff in the decision-making process; takes responsibility for staff activities; makes self available to staff; provides regular performance feedback; develops subordinate’s skills, and encourages growth. <br>Interviewing, hiring, supervising, motivating and training staff. Planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing customer complaints and resolving problems. <br>Other duties as required by manager or according to site demands.<br>Qualifications<br>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. <br>One to 3 years of janitorial experience, management and customer service.<br>Four year degree or equivalence in experience.<br>Excellent communication skills, written and oral.<br>Proficiency in MS office products.<br>Ability to work independently and efficiently without daily supervision.<br>Confidentiality and discretion in customer dealings.<br>This position requires valid driver’s license in good standing..<br>If this application leads to a conditional offer of employment, you will be subject to an employment / criminal background check in accordance with any federal and/or state and/or local specific law.<br>Position is Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 pm - 6:00 am
