JOB SUMMARY:
This position will support the overall Vendor Life Cycle creation and maintenance process as a member of the Shared Service team in POET LLC. The position will be responsible for the coordination of systems and vendor master processes, analysis of incoming requests and enforcement of the Vendor Master Data controls and policies. This role will collaborate with other POET team members in the consolidated and unconsolidated subsidiaries to meet their individual needs for data quality and completeness.<br>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS / COMPETENCIES <br>To perform the essential functions of this position successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: <br>-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from an accredited higher education establishment is required or equivalent accounting related experience is required. <br>-Minimum of one year financial systems experience required and experience with accounts payable and vendor master data preferred. <br>-Detail orientated, excellent analytical skill and demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot and provide solutions. <br>-Responsive and able to work under pressure with a strong sense of urgency. <br>-Process focused with detailed knowledge of process flow documentation. <br>-Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and effectively engage with individuals at all levels within the organization. <br>-Flexible, adaptive and action-orientated team player. <br>-Knowledge in Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability and willingness to learn new software applications. Advance Excel skills required. <br>-Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and most importantly, the ability to work well in a team. <br>Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
