JOB SUMMARY:
Make recommended enhancements to the requirements and specifications that will improve currently implemented database systems<br>Work with other developers and departmental business sponsors to identify and address potential system improvements<br>Develop Microsoft Access database systems based on departmental and business needs to increase productivity and efficiency <br>Includes construction of a relational data architecture, development of front end user interface and implementation of back-end VBA code<br>Direct day-to-day operation and utilization of database systems, maintaining its integrity, including performance tuning and monitoring, backup, and recovery. <br>Isolate and resolve problems affecting databases as a whole or in part.<br>Formulate project plans and communicate project status and schedules to business partners<br>Analyze business / user needs, document requirements, and translate them into proper system requirement specifications<br>4 Years of combined experience with database or application development, programing and coding<br>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming (Computer Science, Application Development) or its equivalent preferred.<br>Experience programming with Visual Basic<br>Knowledge of Relational Database Architecture required<br>Excellent communication skills<br>Must be able to work with limited supervision<br>Proficient at prioritizing tasks and completing them in a timely manner<br>Ability to analyze large datasets and compile them into readable and usable reports<br>Experience programming in a shared application environment <br>Ability to translate other analysts' code<br>Ability to pick up programming duties where others left off<br>Ability to deal with ambiguity<br>Ability to be flexible and adaptable mid-course in a changing business environment<br>Maintains strong relationships throughout the business departments and their respective teams
