JOB SUMMARY:
Online applications accepted through 2/2/2014<br>As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)you will be responsible for performing duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, or changing linens. You may also be responsible for transferring or transporting patients. <br>Additional responsibilities of a CNA position include:<br> • Answering patient call signals, signal lights, bells, or intercom systems to determine patients' needs.<br> • Applying clean dressings, slings, stockings, or support bandages, under direction of a nurse or physician.<br> • Assisting nurses or physicians in the operation of medical equipment or provision of patient care.<br> • Changing bed linens or making beds.<br> • Cleaning and sanitizing patient rooms, bathrooms, examination rooms, or other patient areas.<br>QUALIFICATIONS:<br>Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)<br> To qualify for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you must have effective communication skills and be able to work with individuals of all ages.<br> Additional requirements of the CNA position include:<br> • Current active and valid licensure or certification. <br>• Excellent communication skills.<br> • Ability to organize and prioritize with good interpersonal skills.<br> • Basic Computer Skills.<br>ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:<br>Must be able to read, speak and write in English<br>Hours:<br>Option 1: every other weekend - days (8 hour shifts)<br> Option 2: every other weekend - evenings (8 hour shifts)<br> Option 3: 3 days per week - evenings<br> Schedule: Sun-Mon-Fri (week 1)<br> Mon-Tues-Sat (week 2)<br> Every Mon is 4-10pm, the rest of the days are 2-10:15pm<br> All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability or protected veteran status<br>
