Deadline for Filing: This position is open until filled.<br>Provide primary care services as the clinical director of the Public Health Department. Direct the development, implementation, operation, maintenance, and control of essential medical services. Create and prioritize a health care plan for Falls Community Health, including clinic outcome goals for prevention activities and chronic disease management. Responsible for overseeing the delivery of quality medical care to patients and related functions including the direct treatment of patients. Tuition reimbursement opportunities available through National Health Service Corps. This is an appointed position.<br>Qualification Standards<br>Graduation from an accredited school of medicine and completion of an accredited residency program in family medicine is required. Five (5) years’ clinical experience in the practice of clinical medicine desirable; or any such combination of education, experience, and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority. <br>Must hold, or have ability to obtain within 90 days of hire, a valid license to practice medicine in South Dakota. Must hold South Dakota Controlled Substance Registration, valid DEA number, and current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for Healthcare Professionals Certification.
