JOB SUMMARY:
*Will be living on-site at a senior living apartmant complex. *<br>The PT Cleaning / On-site Caretaker Technician is responsible for assisting the site personnel in performing all duties and functions required for efficient operation of the apartment and townhome communities. This is a part-time, approximately 15 - 20 hours a week, position and will report to the Site Manager. <br>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<br>1.Accountable to the Site Manager, with scheduled meetings.<br>2.Monitors apartment and townhome communities to insure that company policies and procedures are followed to maintain standards for safety, quality, and overall company and tenant satisfaction.<br>3.Performs cleaning of empty units to ready for rentals.<br>4.Performs cleaning duties to ensure all areas are kept in above standard condition for the following areas in the building: Community Room, Community Bathrooms, Guest Suites, all hallways, stairwells, garbage area and all other common areas of the building. <br>5.Performs grounds keeping duties to ensure the grounds are kept in above standard condition. <br>6.Perform snow / ice duties to ensure ice melt is spread for icy sidewalks.<br>7.Coordinates the Community Room and Guest suite rentals.<br>8.Coordinate opportunities for support services for the elderly such as community weekly activities, holiday meals, common area holiday decorating, working with staff from all senior organizations providing services to our residents, organizing transportation for residents, etc.<br>9.Cooperates with staff personnel to study and investigate areas such as quality improvement, cost reduction, method improvements, and equipment maintenance.<br>10. Perform inspections with Manager, and bi-annual smoke detector inspections upon request.<br>11.Observes all company personnel, quality, and safety policies.<br>12. Available as backup contact for after hour maintenance emergencies.<br>13. Responsible to keep expenses within budget, by communicating with Manager to combine all purchase trips, while adhering to set policies for obtaining verifiable receipts.<br>14.Work with Site Manager to distribute and collect correspondence, operation of building security systems including but not limited to video surveillance, key fob system and elevator. <br>15.Assist manager with new resident move-ins.<br>16.Assist the Manager to organize welcome packets for all new residents including items available to the residents within the building and in the surrounding community. <br>17.Live on site in the employee unit.<br>18.Performs other duties as assigned.<br>PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
