JOB SUMMARY:

If so, DocuTAP may have the perfect opportunity for you as an Account Executive. You will be responsible for taking care of business relationships with DocuTAP’s revenue cycle clients. As an Account Executive, you will ultimately be responsible for the accountability of performance for your assigned client’s overall revenue cycle performance by working with and utilizing DocuTAPs internal resources. <br>Primary Responsibilities:<br>• Communicates daily and weekly reports to assigned clinics.<br>• Process and review month end reports for assigned clinics.<br>• Interpret and provide analysis of clinic data through key reports and revenue cycle drivers.<br>• Assists with the development and ongoing management of best practice processes related to new client implementation, ongoing clinic management, and business office processes.<br>• Acts as the client advocate/liaison for clinics and DocuTAP billing services.<br>• Researches, analyzes, records, manages and communicates findings effectively with assigned clinics and their management staff to achieve optimum performance.<br>• Identifies trends and carrier issues relating to billing and reimbursements. Report findings effectively directly to assigned clinics.<br>• Set up and lead weekly and bi-weekly phone meetings with clinics.<br>• Implement and maintain client profiles on DocuTAP system including insurance companies, fee schedules, insurance contracts, etc.<br>• Identifies opportunities within DocuTAP to enhance the client experience.<br>• Pursues and participates in education to remain current with changes in the Healthcare industry.<br>• Compliance with HIPAA regulations through protecting medical office operations and keeping patient information confidential.<br>• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.<br>• Full-time, non-exempt, professional position.<br>• Other duties as assigned. <br>Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:<br>• Bachelor’s degree preferred.<br>• Minimum of five years related experience in medical billing.<br>• Previous experience with an Electronic Medical Record a plus. <br>Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:<br>• Customer service driven.<br>• Some travel required.<br>• Takes initiative to identify issues, solve problems, and communicate proactively.<br>• Understanding of medical terminology and insurance laws/guidelines. <br>• Understanding of entire medical billing process from start to finish.<br>• Excellent organization and time management skills along with excellent oral and written communication skills.<br>• Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate tactfully and with emphasis on friendly customer service.<br>• Strong team player.<br>• Proficient in Windows based applications and MS Office software products.<br>• Ability to learn quickly, build and maintain long term relationships.<br>• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.<br>• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical, organizational and time management skills required.<br>• Comfortable presenting in front of an audience.<br>• Some travel required.<br>• Must enjoy participating in department lunches, companywide Wii bowling tournaments, and other group events <br>***Candidate must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
