JOB SUMMARY:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position) <br>* Proven database design and modeling experienceare paramount. Good fundamental knowledge of relational and data warehouse best practices provide the foundation for the Enterprise reporting platform. Experience with SQL Server is preferred. <br>* Understand Data Warehousing conceptsto include basic data marts and ETL processing. Experience with Microsoft BI tools are preferred. Knowledge of Cognos would also be a plus. <br>* Translate business requirements into deliverablesproviding key financial, operational, and statistical data. <br>* Design, build, and own role-based securitycontrolling data access down to row and column levels. <br>* Demonstrable experience working with advanced, complex SQL statementswith a focus on tuning for performance. <br>* Analyze and interpret datafor process improvements and increased efficiency. <br>* Publish cube datawith SSRS, Power Pivot, Power View, and Performance Point dashboards within SharePoint. Prefer some experience with SharePoint. Any experience with SharePoint 2013 is a plus. <br>* Transition existing Cognos platform and reportsto a tool within Microsoft’s BI stacks.
