JOB SUMMARY:

Exciting opportunity with a growing healthcare IT company with a distinctive workflow solution, including Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Practice Management (PM) and Revenue Cycle Services (RCS). Primary Responsibilities: • Upholds and evangelizes the DocuTAP commitment to user-centered product design • Studies possible solutions and develops detailed recommendations for meeting business requirements • Analyzes customer requests and seeks to fully understand their intent and needs • Facilitates sessions with project team to collaborate and establish vision for projects and/or functionalities • Interviews customers, internal and external subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to elicit requirements • Initiates the software engineering process for enhancements to DocuTAP products by taking user requests and turning them into actionable requirements • Assists in product documentation as necessary • Ensures product changes conform to guidelines and standards • Follows and enhances existing requirements processes and procedures • Consistently meets project deadlines • Other duties as assigned Minimum Education / Experience Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in technical writing, communication, an IT or related field or a degree from a medical field; or equivalent relevant work experience • 5 years in Business Analyst or similar role preferred • Background in a medical field a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Understands highly scalable products spanning a broad array of end user device and UX environments • Demonstrated skills in business analysis • Positive attitude a must • Advanced researching and technical writing abilities • Aptitude towards creative and solutions-based thinking • Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships with physicians and clinic managers • Active listening skills to understand what people are saying, both spoken and unspoken • Ability to understand clinical/medical concepts • Strong communication skills, both verbal, written, and in interviewing situations • Interest in achieving high quality standards • Work well with others in a team environment • Ability to learn quickly in a highly technical and fast-paced environment • Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment • Demonstration of flexible and efficient time management • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects • Proficient in Windows based applications, and MS Office software products • Must enjoy competing in company-wide Wii bowling tournaments and having fun at work • User-Centered Design (UCD) skills preferred ***Candidate must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
