<br>Proven database design and modeling experienceare paramount. Good fundamental knowledge of relational and data warehouse best practices provide the foundation for the Enterprise reporting platform. Experience with SQL Server is preferred.

<br>Understand Data Warehousing conceptsto include basic data marts and ETL processing. Experience with Microsoft BI tools are preferred. Knowledge of Cognos would also be a plus.
<br>*
<br>Translate business requirements into deliverablesproviding key financial, operational, and statistical data.
<br>*
<br>Design, build, and own role-based securitycontrolling data access down to row and column levels.
<br>*
<br>Demonstrable experience working with advanced, complex SQL statementswith a focus on tuning for performance.
<br>*
<br>Analyze and interpret datafor process improvements and increased efficiency.
<br>*
<br>Publish cube datawith SSRS, Power Pivot, Power View, and Performance Point dashboards within SharePoint. Prefer some experience with SharePoint. Any experience with SharePoint 2013 is a plus.

<br>Transition existing Cognos platform and reportsto a tool within Microsoft s BI stacks. The transition involves determining the criticality of the report, translating the report SQL to a new SQL statement, and delivering the report through portals.

<br>Maintain legacy reporting servicesthrough the completion of transition.
<br>*
<br>Ensure accuracy, integrity, and availabilityof the BI platform.

<br>* Associates degree in business , technology or other related field in lieu of degree two or more relevant years of experience will be given consideration for associate degree
<br>* Minimum of three years of experience with SQL Server
<br>* Preference given to working knowledge of SharePoint
<br>* Preference given to experience with Cognos ReportNet or other Business Intelligence Platforms
