Join the #2 Private student lender (Source: College Board) Our Education Financial Services (EFS) team provides education financing options for students and their families. They also offer financial tools and tips to help students keep their finances on track while in school and prepare them financially for when they finish college. - Responsible for supporting sales management in the day-to-day administration of call center sales teams - Have knowledge of all certified and uncertified loan products - Use Expedite, Quick View and Helms - Be able to navigate Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet - Able to locate loan product information and transactions using systems and hard copy - Performs extensive research to resolve complex account problems - Communicates with internal departments/external organizations to resolve escalated situations - Consults with first tier supervisor peers to make override decisions - Coaches inexperienced inbound/outbound sales specialists - Occasionally provides training to new team members on policies, procedures, and systems Duties may include: - Interviewing, resolving routine and escalated customer problems - Providing technical support through research and utilization of company resources - Acting as a back-up to a supervisor - Actively providing feedback and recommendations to supervisors - Complete special projects as assigned
<br>Basic Qualifications: 3+ years sales and customer service experience to include 4+ months experience providing coaching direction, guidance and leadership to customer service representatives or to assigned staff.
<br>Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated experience in resolving and working through escalated complex customer issues. Advanced knowledge of bank policies and procedures, problem solving, customer service, organizational, and communications skills. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of banking products and services. Strong PC skills including ability to troubleshoot common problems and navigate the internet and intranet. Experience in prioritizing and completing multiple tasks within a high volume environment while meeting stringent deadlines.
<br>Preferred Skills: - 1 year EFS experience (Education Financial Services Department) - 3+ years experience in sales or processing or customer service - Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Word, Internet and Intranet - Must be highly motivated with good communication skills and capable of leadership by example - Manages time effectively - Prioritizes workload and ability to multi-task - Problem Solving Skills - Listening Skills - Phone Etiquette Skills - Multitasking Skills - Research Skills - People Skills- working and cooperating with a variety of diverse minds and learning styles
