Management/ExecutiveFacility:Avera Medical Group Sioux FallsDepartment:Avera Medical GroupSchedule:Full TimeShift:Day ShiftHours:Monday- Friday with ocassional eveing and weekend involvemenRequisition:1400107Job Details:Bachelor's DegreeSUMMARY:Directs and supervises of all clinic activities through clinic management, clinical and administrative support staff. Responsible for the functions of physician relations, strategic planning, development of clinic goals, budget, materials management; policies, procedures, and protocols; regulatory compliance; performance improvement; certification and accreditation; and staff/patient education. This position is also responsible for the supervision of the financial functions of the billing, A/R management, and collections. Identifies physician practices for ownership, or management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum of a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; in business or a health care related field required. Masters degree preferred. Healthcare Management experience required. Three to five years of experience in clinic management preferred. CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS: This position requires a valid driver s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
