Job Description

<br>The Companion Aide/Homemaker performs tasks as specified by the care plan or Case Service Plan in client homes during a specified work period. He/she functions independently with minimal supervision. Care provided includes housekeeping tasks and personal care. He/she serves as an observer and reporter of client status and/or changes in status to RN Supervisor or Department of Social Services Case Manager.

<br>When students are providing patient care, treatment, and/or services as a part of their training, any/all employees may be asked to supervise the students.

<br>High school diploma or equivalency. Must have a valid SD drivers license.
