Technical/Professional (Clinical)Facility:Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health CenterDepartment:Outpatient Dialysis Sioux FallsSchedule:Full TimeShift:Day ShiftHours:Varied Shifts - Monday - Saturday between 5am-7pmRequisition:1304084Job Details:High School/GEDSUMMARY: Dialysis Technician performs tasks contributing to performance of maintenance dialysis for patients with end stage renal disease, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School or GED required. Dialysis experience or Nursing Assistant experience preferred. .CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS: Certification as Dialysis Technician from certification programs preferred including: the Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) offered by the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC), the Board of Nephrology Examiners for Nursing and Technology (BONENT), or the National Nephrology Certification Organization (NNCO).
