JOB SUMMARY:
Dates of need: 3/01/2014 to 12/15/2014. Jobs are in Veblen SD. Moving of snow from the facilities March - April and in November - December; assisting with calving March - May and weanings calves with ear tagging, feeding, supplements, minerals July - October; operating equipment for tiling, fertilizing and planting crops in March - May; operate cutters and mergers for putting up hay (alfalfa) in May - September; repair, construct and maintain current facilities, buildings, equipment and fences March - October; monitoring water bunks during peak heat season July - August; loading and unloading straw in August, operating equipment for harvest and storing crops such as silage, earlage, soybeans, alfalfa, sorghum and rye in August - Novemeber; operate equipment for manure application in September - December. Three (3) months experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days following hire.
