JOB SUMMARY:
Accountant position opening for an insurance agency. Responsibilities include: commission calculations, accounts receivable and payable; preparation of financial statements/reconcilliation, payroll, tax filings, pension filings, all bookkeeping functions, and other duties as assigned. Applicants must be able to work with strict deadlines and in a confidential manner. Qualifications: A four year degree in accounting and minimum of 3 years experience in the accounting field. Agency Management System experience is a plus. Pay based on qualifications. Full benefit package. Open until filled.
