JOB SUMMARY:

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Perform repairs as needed on production blades<br>A summary of the essential functions of the position includes, but is not limited to, the following:<br>1. Responsible for repair of all defects found in the finishing and assembly areas; this may include, but not limited to: wave, wrinkles, and buckle repairs.<br>2. Ability to work on small and large projects as assigned.<br>3. Repair shell defects in mold prior to the closing process.<br>4. Ability to work with little or no supervision.<br>5. Lead small teams to complete repairs as needed.<br>6. All other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.<br>SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:<br>1. Must be a self-starter and a quick study.<br>2. Capable of learning new techniques quickly.<br>3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.<br>4. Decision-making abilities.<br>5. Good troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.<br>6. Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools (grinders, sanders, drills, saws, welders), and test equipment (electrical meters, etc.).<br>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:<br>1. Requires sitting, standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), walking, squatting, and reaching.<br>2. Requires mental concentration and attentiveness.<br>3. Good hand to eye coordination.<br>QUALIFICATIONS:<br>A. Education: High School diploma or GED required <br>B. Experience: 2 years’ experience in related field preferred<br>Starting wage is $13 per hour with an increase after 90 day probationary period.<br>Title: Composite Repair Technician<br>Reports to: Production Supervisor
